JazzyMedia produces JazzyBooks which are free exercise books for UK school children that contain pages of games along with advertisements. Jazzy Media also distributes advertising-oriented displays, activities and samples and it states on its website: “School is a creative, uncluttered environment where children form opinions, making our communication method more effective”.

Its products are used in 10,000 schools in the UK and by hundreds of thousands of Australian students. Its clients include Cartoon Network, Disney, EMI, GlaxoSmithKline, Hasbro, Masterfoods and Pepsi. When Planet Kids website, aimed at children from five to 11 years old, was advertised in JazzyBooks, the number of visits to the site increased by four times in five weeks. Schools in the US receive cartons of unsolicited book covers prominently featuring advertisements for a variety of products including clothes, snacks, television shows and toiletries.

Cover Concepts provides free book covers to schools that feature advertisements from companies such as Kellogg’s, McDonald’s, Nike and Calvin Kline. It also distributes other sponsored material including comics, teacher’s guides, bookmarks, locker posters, calendars, colouring sheets, growth charts, health and beauty samples. It claims to reach 30 million school students in 43,000 public schools, as well as 1.2 million children in day care centres and 5 million in libraries. Kid Club Marketing says of its book covers:
My School Folders offers free homework folders to school students with advertising and tells businesses that their ads will be "seen by parents, guardians, students, teaches and school administrators almost daily for a full school year". Links
